Championship-level golf course
Opened in 2006, Cooke is a championship-level golf course. The main designer of the course, Graham Cooke, based his design on the principle that all players must be able to derive the same joy from playing, regardless of their skill level. Championship-level courses designed by Cooke offer challenges to top players and amateurs alike.
Teeing grounds are designed to make the holes fun to play for any player, whether a beginner or a pro. The holes can readily be made more challenging.
Cooke course’s fairways can be described as generous. This may easily give the player a false sense of security, since the deceivingly open holes are accompanied by gently undulating contours and design features. With their meticulously designed location, sand bunkers add an additional layer of difficulty to the approach.
The course’s special features include large sandy areas and waste bunkers, which provide contrast to the beautifully maintained greens and fairways in an interesting manner. The greens undulate gently, offering numerous options for the position of the flag.
9 Minutes Break Bar serves as the Cooke course’s café.

Worthy of its name
Built in 1988, Vierumäki’s Classic course has provided thousands of golfers with their first introduction to golf. Planned by Swedish designer Jan Sederholm, the course is built on sandy ground amidst a pine forest. Thanks to its sandy soil, this beautiful and challenging course dries quickly after snow melts onto it, so it is suitable to play on for up to seven months a year.
The course was renovated in 2014–2018 in accordance with plans prepared by the British company Martin Ebert Mackenzie & Ebert. In its masterplan, attention has been paid to every last detail – almost down to the location of individual trees.
This course requires players to plan their shots carefully and execute them accurately. The longest possible drive does not always result in the best score. While more advanced players can take some calculated risks, successful tactics on this course may also be found in perfectly executed approach shots.
